What is ArkALMIGHTY?
It's a good deeds program that matches up the needs in our church with the talents and skills of our members.
How do we use the Ark?
It's easy and it's anonymous. Once on our church's ArkAlmighty page, click 'Submit a Need', this will take you to a page to enter:
- your contact information (NOT displayed on the website)
- a brief brief description of the need (e.g. "I need a weekly ride to the doctor" or "My air conditioner is broken. Can you help?")
- A detailed description of the need
Click 'Add my need'. The need is then sent to the administrator who approves the request. The need is then posted.
How are needs fulfilled?
Church members can scroll through the list of posted needs on our page and easily volunteer to help. Once you have found a need that you would like to fulfill, press 'Click Here to Help'. This will take you to a page where you enter:
- Your contact information (NOT displayed on the website)
- A brief description as to how you can help (e.g. " I can fix your broken air condition - I'm a contactor.")
Click 'Fulfill'. This infomation is sent to the administrator for approval. Once approved, an email is sent connecting both parties. This need will automatically have a status of "Assigned" on our page.
The same steps can be followed for posting skills, just use click 'Add my Skill'. This will get the word out about what skills we have in our church, and once people know, they might have a need they can post to match.

Just click the link below to go directly to our page on ArkAlmighty, or you can visit the ArkAlmighty home page and then go to our page by using the "Find My Church" search option. If you are not very internet savvy and prefer you can email your need or skill to mercy@crosspointag.com or you can contact Sarah Lochner. There will also be forms and a drop box located in the church office for those who do not have the internet or who do not use it.
